I received my AP armor kit. I also received tentative positive future assistance with the build from Alaskan Outpost members. Wanting to get going and ooking for anyone that has experience with building a stormtrooper armor kit. Would like to hear from anyone in the Fairbanks area (I live in North Pole) I have lots of ideas and have referenced 100's of online sources until the wee morning and the toothpicks holding up my eyelids gave out. I am confident in movong forward alone, but if there are sources out there let me know if you interested in helping or just chatting about what as worked for you and lessons learned type of things...thanks in advance. I hope to complete my build prior to the start of 2010.

How does Saturday Dec 12 from noon to 6 sound? We have room at our place to host, as long at cats are not a problem.

We live downtown Fairbanks.

Niner, are you the fellow in Ft Wainwright? If so, then yes.

Our NP fellow has a TK kit, which my hubby says is pretty straightforward to put together (the he uses rivets and snaps - no Velcro!) and we can also help you with your Republic Commando at the same time.

This is open to anyone in the area who want to come and meet us, or anyone else in the area. We have a pretty big house, and lots of room for company!

I am there! Cats do not bother me...maybe you can Pm or email contact number so I can call and coordinate what I need to bring, and any details like how to get to the house? Thanks in advance for hosting and helping me getting started. 388-4532 is cell phone.

The 12th will work for me as well, and yes I am the FW fellow. Like AST said just let us know how to get there, and what to bring.

The armor party was a HUGE help! It set me on the right path to what I need to work on and how to do it. With luck, MY RC will be finished by spring ( if not sooner). Hope to get together again and get it done and troop before my departure to Miami in the summer. Thanks again to all who were there and helped!

Hi guys,

Glad we could be of help! We had a good time hosting and it was nice to meet you two! I posted a couple photos here: http://www.perlgurl.net/galler...n.php?g2_itemId=1879

Note, that is my personal website and I have checked the photo Gallery software for bugs, but Avast Anitvirus seems to think there is a virus since there is a link to an external Javascript site. You will get denied access if you have Avast, unless you disable the Avast software.
